This course is for you if…

  • You feel called to understand the ancient and modern mystical teachings to grow personally and help others.

  • You want to deepen your daily meditation, prayer, and service.

  • You are ready to build relationships and share your progress, questions, and challenges with others who are deeply invested in the mystical path.

How does the course work?

  • Monthly live Zoom sessions with Isha Das and your fellow classmates to process the material being studied and to support each other. Our meetings will take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 7:00-8:30pm ET.

  • Monthly journaling assignments to deepen your reflection and understanding of our studies.

  • Monthly informal Zoom sessions, facilitated by one of the teachers from The Assisi Institute. This session will take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm ET, and will give participants another chance to process the material.

  • Monthly reading assignments (and some video assignments).

  • Three one-on-one sessions with Isha Das to reflect on your experience and ask questions about the course.

  • Highly recommended: Your attendance at The Assisi Institute’s spring and fall mini-retreats. (The donations we ask for these retreats will be optional for those in this class.)

  • Highly Recommended: Your attendance at our annual 4-day summer retreat in Rochester, NY (dates TBD). (The donations we ask for these retreats will be optional for those in this class.)

Meet Isha Das

Founder and Spiritual Director of The Assisi Institute

Isha Das is an accomplished teacher, writer, lecturer, and psychotherapist who has authored books and recorded CDs on spirituality and meditation. The former Pastoral Administrator at St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church, Isha Das earned graduate degrees in Religious Studies from the University of Notre Dame and in Clinical Psychology from the University of Duquesne. His broad and diverse education includes extensive study in psychology, spirituality, mysticism, world religions, and yoga. * You will receive three one-on-one meetings to process the course with Isha Das as part of the program.
